Join Ridley Performing Arts Program (RPAP) for our upcoming production of Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical JR.! We’re looking for enthusiastic young performers ready to sing, dance, act, and bring the wonderfully rebellious world of Matilda to life! 🎭 Rehearsal Information Rehearsal Location: Christ Church Ridley Park 104 Nevin Street, Ridley Park, PA Regular Rehearsal Schedule: Mondays & Thursdays | 7:00–9:00 PM Additional rehearsals may be scheduled as we approach performances. 🎟️ Performances February 4–6, 2027 Ridley Middle School Performers must be available for all required tech rehearsals and performances. 🎵 What to Expect at Auditions Auditions will include singing, acting, and movement/dance. We encourage performers of all experience levels to audition! Please come prepared to: Perform a short vocal selection Participate in a brief dance/movement combination Bring lots of energy, creativity, and willingness to try something new! 📚 About the Show Matilda JR. tells the story of Matilda Wormwood, an extraordinary young girl with a brilliant mind, a vivid imagination, and the courage to stand up for what is right. Featuring memorable characters, energetic ensemble numbers, and songs including “Naughty,” “Revolting Children,” and “When I Grow Up,” the show provides exciting opportunities for performers throughout the cast.
